The Iron Route, an important trade road east of Phlan, is beset by competing bandits. An exiled Black Fist officer leads his band of mercenaries turned cloaked ruffians, while a mysterious dragonborn sorcerer commands screaming savages from the north. In this war for supremacy over the trade route, the beleaguered merchants are the victims, and Phlan suffers from a lack of important supplies. It’s up to adventurers to strike out and reopen this vital route to the town.

Conclusion: Summoned by House Cardona the party showed up in Podol Plaza to find a forming mob. It didn’t take long for violence to erupt. The party interceded and saved a merchant and his wagon from getting looted. The merchant was Brandon Yil, the same man who summoned them. He tasked them with putting a stop to the unrest on the trade roads and bring these brigands to justice. His only lead was a captured mercenary being held at Grimshackle Prison.

Once they arrived at the disheveled prison they bought there way in to meet the prisoner, Rathene Fel. She was beaten and battered and kept in less than favorable conditions which made it easy for the party to gain her trust. Shortly after they began talking to her a prison break occurred in which a giant Minotaur pirate captain escaped and hunted down one of the prison owners that was with the party. It resulted in a fierce battle in which Wysper almost died. After saving one of the brothers they demanded the release of the prisoner. While he went to discuss the events with his brother the party wasted no time and broke her out and escaped out a window with Mordreighs magic.

After providing the party with intel on the bandits party they arrived at King’s Pyre. The old statue of a long dead king was surrounded by two opposing factions which were using this site as a meeting place with the hopes of uniting to take on larger prey. They chose to assault the compound by sea and hid the boat out of sight, which allowed them to scale up a wall and deal with the camp ran by Sahnd Krulek. They dispatched most of the bandits to but were bested by a berserker by the name of Ruse. She single handedly dropped the party with the exception of Melech who surrendered and was knocked out.

They awoke in the cave leading to the sea, bound and gagged. The sounds of battle echoed from outside the cave, and the party decided to use it to their advantage. Once they escaped the cave they were ambushed by the attacking orc war party. They managed to take them out and climbed a zip line to investigate an elf firing arrows down into the fray. After leading him to believe they were there to help they murdered him and took his bow.

With a birds eye view now they were able to view the devastation. They saw below Krulek was engaged in battle with an armored orog which had already taken out the dragon born sorceress leading the Claws of Tiamat bandits. They bought some time and investigated a side cavern which was full of prisoners being held by Kobolds. While they watched, Krulek dispatched the orog and limped away injured. They began to fire from afar taking out the injured ex Black Fist Knight.

Shortly after they rescued the prisoners and returned to Phlan having taken care of the Outlaws on the Iron Route….well sort of.

Scholars Square is a relatively quiet corner of Phlan, but a series of odd thefts have the headmasters of various schools in the area concerned. The headmasters’ pleas for help have gone unanswered by the Black Fist, and the Lord Sage of Phlan decides to reach out to you and your kind to bring those responsible to justice.

Conclusion:
The party investigated 3 thefts and discovered in the process that Agin Lamark was misrepresenting himself as a Lamark Noble and is fearful that his secret would come out if someone got their hands on his stolen book. He begged the PC to return the book or destroy it.

After investigating the thefts the party discovered that the Scroll Thief was none other than Ellison one of the Mantor’s Library scribes. He was one of the 3 cultists sent to infiltrate Phlan to asses the location of the Pool of Radiance and if it was possible to reactivate it. In seeking out information he murdered Garda Greenleaf the head of archives in Mantor’s Library before fleeing through the lower levels out the sewer. He headed out to the twilight marsh to deal with a dragon named Rythnax sent by the Cult of the Dragon. After a battle with the dragons the PC’s captured Ellison and brought him back to Stojanow Gate for Judgement. They kept Agins secret for now.

For the past several nights, drums have been heard on the wind, coming from the Twilight Marsh. Each morning, more turn up missing from the nearby farms, leaving only muddy, clawed footprints heading towards the marsh. Can you help the find the lost and bring justice to the abductors?

Conclusion
The party finds themselves at the Crossing Inn just outside of Phlan. Recently there has been several people taken after Drums sound out in the marsh from a nearby farm. The party employed a guide to take them down river to the farms so they could investigate.

Upon investigating they found the farms had been ransacked and destroyed. Sever drag marks and tracks proving that lizardmen were involved probably coming out of the twilight marsh and taking prisoners. The decided to go deeper into the marsh to see if they could find any survivors.

They encountered several typical hazards for a marsh and finally came upon a ring of islands on which they found a fearsome Lizardman. Before they could take him down he escaped. They followed him to a giant island in the bog of the marsh in which it appeared several lizard man tribes occupied different corners of this triangular shaped island. From a distant the party peppered the island while Gauthuk engaged at close range. They appeared to be engaged in some sort of competition for tribal leadership and the introduction of an outside aggressor sparked a civil war between the tribes. In the end the lizard man that escaped earlier took charge and united the remaining lizardmen against the party. They narrowly escaped with there lives. They were able to save any of the survivors that were taken during this sick contest.

Despite the shaky alliance that exists with the elves of the Quivering Forest, they do not suffer trespass in their realm lightly, especially from common folk from nearby Phlan. A woodworker’s recent blunder into the forest might set off a diplomatic incident. Can you help find him and mollify the aggravated elves?

Conclusion

At the request of Aleyd Burral, the party traveled to Kabel’s Hill to find out why grain shipments stopped recently. Upon arrival the town appeared abandoned. They found all the townspeople at the local inn The Leaky Bucket in a panic about recent events. Apparently six of the towns men went into the Quivering Forest in search of a man named Halvin. This was forbidden as Phlan had a truth with the fey of the forest to not venture into the forest and in return they are left alone and Phlan is protected.

No sooner than they sat down finally for a drink, were they interrupted by screams from outside. One of the six was found pinned to a post in the center of the town square still alive with the message the six left with to venture into the fey’s homeland. He was pined to the tree with a hairpin which bore the sigil of Jenny Greenleaf, a hag that lived in the forest.

After searching Halvins former home they discovered a journal in which he documents several letters he had sent to Greenleaf seeking for her and the fey to sit idle while the Cult of the Dragon plundered the town of Phlan. Realizing they had to put a stop to this they sought out the local ranger Serelis for guidance but were unable to convince him to aid them.

Venturing into the forest they found several of the six mutilated along the way. It didn’t take long for them to find out a displacer beast lair was close by and they were ambushed by the beasts. The party fell to the beasts but were able to take out one in the process. Some time later Gauthuk awoke while Vystair was being eaten by the remaining beast. He was able to defeat the beast and return Vystairs pieces to Serelis. The ranger called upon the Emerald Enclave who returned Vystair to life now bonded to the Faction.

They continued their quest and found themselves at Greenhall an Elven settlement. After a tense standoff they were able to convey to the elves that there trespass was to stop a regional problem and the elves backed down. They had not seen any of the missing villagers. When the party took out Jenny’s Hairpin for information, the elves instantly went into a panic and told them to leave immediately out of pure fear for the hag.

After sometime they found the lair of the hag. She had apparently met with Halvin and didn’t agree with his ideas and killed him. She offered the adventurer’s some soup she had just made as they soon realized it was Soup de Halvin. Vystair went invisible while taking a walk and discovered a hidden cloak of displacement inside the cottage. Gauthuk began to talk to Jenny and eventually said the wrong thing and a fight broke out. The hag clearly was toying with them as she attacked and vanished several times tearing them apart slowly until they were able to escape out of her hidden sanctuary. Unfortunately the encounter sealed the fate of Phlan as the fey pact is now broken and they are on their own against the Cult of the Dragon.

An exiled cultist and his kobold minions are spotted searching long-forgotten ruins in the Dragonspire Mountains. Rumors say he looks for a precious gift to give to a fearsome dragon that dwells there. What he hopes to attain with his gift is unknown, but can’t be good for the citizens of Phlan.

Conclusion
The party followed a posting for a wanted man by the name of Spernik to Mantor’s Library. After speaking with the Lord Sage Opanrael they learned that two scribes by the names of Spernik and Tibeem had been caught sneaking out of the Lord Sage’s office. They made a run for it but Spernik escaped. They searched their rooms afterwards and discovered a sack with two rare books. When they went to replace them they had already placed duplicate forgeries in their place. Tibeem was arrested for murdering a guard during the twos escape. The Lord Sage believes more books were taken and commissioned the party to recover them.

Upon arriving at Stojanow Gate, the local prison, Tibeem had already been hung for his crimes as justice in Phlan is dispensed quickly usually without trial. After asking around town they discovered a crude map leading out to foothills of the Dragonspine Mountains.

After a two day journey they discovered a ancient temple marked by standing stones. Inside was a group of ravenous zombies and ghouls. After cleaning out the entry way they moved into the main chamber to discover Spernik leading a band of kobolds searching adjoining rooms. The party quickly dealt with Spernik and knocked him out to be dealt with later. They searched the adjoining rooms and round in each a relic which formed a key for the main door resembling a dragons scale.

Upon opening the door they found this shrine guarded by Scalebinder Skovac a undead priest of the Circle of the Scale who once used this temple. The party didn’t hesitate and destroyed the wight and his zombies quickly. They removed the relic from the shrine and took it with them.

Returning to Phlan they found that Tibeem and Spernik were both working for the Cult of the Dragon and were sent to recover the relic believing it had the ability to enslave dragons which turned out two be false. He begged for mercy since he feared the cult more than imprisonment in Phlan. They handed him over to the Black Fist guards to face trial at Stojanow

For years, the Most Solemn Order of the Silent Shroud has tended the dead at Valinghen graveyard, providing them a peaceful eternal rest. Now, that rest has been disturbed by a necromancer seeking out a key to re-activate the Pool of Radiance.

Conclusion
After answering to an advert placed by Doomguide Yovir in Valhingen Graveyard, they are tasked with investigating a undead uprising in the catacombs beneath the graveyard. He sent is aide Cassyt to ensure they didn’t tamper with the departed resting peacefully in the catacombs.

Shortly after entering the catacombs they discovered some ghouls that were active and dispatched them. The descended further into the catacombs down a rickety set of stairs and discovered several grave robbers that had barracaded themselves from several attacking zombies after lining their pockets. The party cleansed the area of the zombies and decided to remove their stolen treasure and lock them back in the room to be dealt with later.
After destroying some animated skeletons they came upon a gruesome room filled with alcoves containing vignettes of how the victims were killed.

After several more undead they came upon a room which looked like a camp had been setup to excavate the wall perhaps for a hidden chamber. Standing in it was a bald man covered with tattoos with several lackeys which immediately engaged the party. After a fierce battle they overcame the mage and discovered he had animated several undead to aide in digging a tunnel in hopes to find the long lost Pool of Radiance at the behest of a wizard named Rath Modar. They believed the pool to be somewhere below Vallejo Keep.

Life on the Moonsea isn’t easy. Bandits, pirates, and cruel lords dominate the land, threatening those who make an honest living there. Now, a new scourge is prowling the waters: A ghost ship has been striking small coastal villages, leaving its victims whispering about the “eye of the dracolich.” Join the adventure and learn the truth behind this threat!

Conclusion:
The party is contacted by Doomguide Yovir, High Priest of Kelemvor about a mad man that was brought to Valhengin Graveyard a previous day spouting nonsense about the eyes of the dracolich. With rumors of a ghost ship destroying villages along the coast the one honest Black Fist Knight Aleyd Burral fears they are related and ask the party to investigate.

After piecing together the pieces of the puzzle they are led to a small fishing village on a island just off the coast not on the map disconnected from civilization. They befriend a young girl named Elisandre who tries to explain her people to these “Mainlanders”. After some digging around they find another lunatic raving about the eyes of the dracolich right in this village. They investigate the local wood and find a hidden shrine in which a pact was made with devils to keep the island safe from a marauding pirate ship at the time the “Audacity”. There investigation is interrupted by sounds of battle as the island comes under attack from this ghost ship.

They defeat the intruders only to discover they are not intact ghosts but pirates under disguise at the command of the Cult of the Dragon cultist Ixas and were to gather up all the books and potentially magical items and burn the rest in all the villages they have sacked. The madman on the Island is actually an advance scout they plant prior to arrival.
Unfortunately theirs and the cults presence on the island has in fact broken the pact and has caused the return of the “Audacity” from the nine hells itself and row up to a battle between the infernal pirates and the cultists.

A fierce battle ensued but eventually they saved the day and ended the threat. They discovered that Ixas was using a statue to glamour captives while he was seeking information about a dragon mask which was allegedly in the area. Unknowing to them Elisandre trailed them back to Phlan and has been seen off and on around the graveyard since.

Treasure- Zulgar Wand of Magic Detection

Decades have passed since Sokol Keep was reclaimed, and a small garrison placed there along with a beacon to help guide ships. Now, that beacon has gone dark, and the garrison has disappeared. In Phlan, rumors circulate that something ancient was discovered in the grounds beneath the keep, dating to before the clerics of Tyr built the small fortress. Uncover the secrets of Sokol Keep!

Conclusion:
While enjoying a famous cabbage soup at the Laughing Goblin, the PC’s are stuck in the middle of a bar fight between three humans with ink-stained hands and shirts and some local dock workers who are out of work due to the lighthouse on Sokol Keep being out. The PC’s discover after the brawl settles that Black Fist Guard Sergeant Grim, who is assigned to the Thorn Island, mentioned a treasure below Sokol keep and that he was close to finding it. They are pretty sure he was spinning tall tales, as usual, but the The Black Fist has been openly recruiting in response to rumors of a spirit ship attacking coastal villages which perhaps could be the cause of the issues at the lighthouse.

After gaining access from Liela the local House Sokol Representative at the administrative office at the docks, they travel to Sokol Keep but the sergeant and his guard contingent are missing. They met with the local grounds keepers (Shandra and Darvag) who told them that Igan Sokol had become very friendly with Grim and the two disappeared a couple nights ago and ever since then strange things have been happening including the inability to light the signal light.

The PC’s discovered after some ghostly interference a secret complex under the west tower and dealt with Igans animated remains in some sort of temple worship room to a jade idol. They discovered the black fist guards hiding in a sealed treasure vault and claimed that the undead murdered Igan after he touched the idol. After cornering Grim they discovered that he in fact betrayed Igan out of greed and wanted to keep the idol for himself when suddenly mysterious whispers started and the undead came to life causing them to hide. After they all leave the complex the lighthouse mysterious re lights. The PC’s bring Grim to justice and he hangs the very next day from Stojanow Gate.

Mission 5- Rillo the gnome tinkerer begs the adventurers to rescue his daughter Villonah from corrupt black fist guards who are holding her in a prison, he heard, that is located beneath the ruins of the Lyceum of the Black Lord. After exploring the subterranian complex and rescuing the girl they are stopped by Yllivia, a member of the Order of the Gauntlet, a group dedicated to fighting the tyranny of the Black Fist knights who believes they are the captors. They are able to prove their intention and discover that Villonah is also a member of the Order of the Gauntlet. She was captured trying to take a map leading to a white dragon lair that a group of black fists were hiding. The PC’s lean that some Black Fist knights hold the honest citizens of Phlan in a state of fear with their tyranny, and their interest in anything related to dragons is a bad sign for the city.
